In 2019, a survey investigated the importance of electronic tools used in preocurement of German companies and organizations. The respondents implementing a uniform ordering process were more aware (**** percent) of the importance of e-tools for the requisition-to-pay (R2P) processes. This meant that the supply and purchase of products or services was achieved by different franchises or departments, but followed a common procedure. In this case, the use of a dedicated platform was perceived as particularly useful.
