In Romania, net advertising expenditure has been increasing since 2014 for each medium apart from print, which registered a declining trend since 2018. At the same time, TV net advertising had by far the highest expenditure, totaling over *** million euros by 2019. However, net advertising spending turned out to be smaller in 2020 for each medium after new COVID-19 estimations were made.
