The COVID-19 pandemic in the United States has led to an increased use of online shopping and has also prompted some online-shopping holdouts to make their first digital purchase. According to a consumer survey, **** percent of female consumers in the United States have bought a product online for the first time due to physical distancing and self-quarantining practices. Overall, over a third of female consumers planned on increasing their spending on goods from online marketplaces because of the coronavirus.
