The new Nutri-Score food label introduced in Germany in 2019 was reported to be much more eye catching than the preexisting labelling system. About ** percent of consumers found the colors (green, yellow, and red) of the new label more meaningful than the old Wegweiser Ernährung, while ** percent of the respondents considered the Nutri-Score easier to detect and understand.
