The sound of heart and Yumi's cells

The sound of heart is a comedy series that has become quite popular and was adapted as an TV series and a mobile game in 2016. Yumi’s Cells is a webtoon about a girl named Yumi and her brain cells. Due to the webtoon’s popularity, the author was awarded the Presidential Korean Content Awards in 2018. It is a fantasy webtoon that has been adapted as a mobile game and as an anime series. As webtoons are increasingly popular worldwide, both webtoons were officially translated into other languages by their publisher, Naver Webtoon. As of 2019, Naver Webtoon was the most popular webtoon service in South Korea.

Webtoons are a type of digital comics originating in South Korea. Webtoons are mostly designed to be consumed on mobile devices, and some webtoons even feature background music that can be played while reading the strip. While some webtoons tell a story in each volume, others are telling longer stories over several months. The most popular genre for digital comics and webtoons was Comedy.
