This statistic presents the share of internet users in selected countries who have not taken steps to protect their activities and personal information online. During the October 2018 survey, it was found that respondents from Japan were least likely to have done something to protect their online privacy, as 34 percent of survey respondents admitted to not taking any precautionary measures. In contrast, only 6 percent of respondents from Mexico stated that they have taken action on this issue.
