According to a survey held in February 2020, the share of current vMVPD users who switched directly from a traditional pay TV service in the United States amounted to ** percent, marking a slight increase from the previous year. Additionally, ** percent of respondents also had a traditional service as well as using a vMVPD like Sling TV, YouTube TV or Hulu with live TV, also up slightly from the year before. The percentage of respondents without a subscription to any type of pay TV service dropped from ** percent in 2019 to ** percent in 2020.
