About 86 percent of British consumers have a positive opinion of fish and chips. It shares first place with roast chicken as the most popular dish in the British kitchen. Its popularity, however, is not equal among all age groups. About 92 percent of baby boomers have positive attitudes towards fish and chips, making the dish much more popular among this group than the general population.
