X Games - statistics & facts
Since its establishment in 1995, the X Games has provided a stage for pushing the boundaries of action sports. At its inception, the competition consisted of nine event categories and was held exclusively in the United States, however, it has since expanded to include a much wider range of disciplines in different countries around the world. In May 2023, for example, the Summer X Games were held in Chiba, Japan, marking the second time the East Asian country hosted the event. In addition to being able to attend events in person, fans can access some of the most thrilling moments of the competition on streaming platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.
