As of March 2025, respondents were evenly divided in who they preferred as a prime minister of Norway. Erna Solberg, leader of the Conservative Party was leading the poll through 2024, but lost her lead to current Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre of the Labour Party in February 2025. The Labour Party had been ruling in a coalition with the Centre Party since the parliamentary election in 2021, but the latter left the coalition in the beginning of 2025 over a dispute about EU directives. Solberg was Prime Minister of the country from 2013 to October 2021.
