Norway鈥檚 national assembly is elected every four years and September 11, 2017 was the latest date for the election of the Storting, as the parliament is called in Norway. Eligible to vote are all Norwegian citizens over the age of 18 who are or who have been registered as resident in one of the 19 counties of the country. During the 2017 election, roughly 3.77 million citizens of Norway were entitled to vote in the Norwegian parliamentary election. The voter turnout was 78.2 percent.
