The majority of Japanese consumers ate ice cream at least once a week, as revealed in a survey conducted in Japan in October 2024. According to the survey results, ice cream was the most popular dessert in Japan, but over ** percent of respondents restricted themselves to eating the treat once a week. Close to eight percent of respondents enjoyed the cold treat almost daily.
