This statistic illustrates the perceived impact on a loss of national identity upon introduction of the euro for European Union (EU) member states not currently in the eurozone as of 2020, broken down by country. It can be seen that ** percent of respondents in Sweden agreed with the statement that adopting the euro will mean losing a part of their national identity at that time. On the other hand, the share of respondents in Hungary that believe adopting the euro would result in a loss of national identity stood at ** percent as of 2020.
