Of the EU members that had not introduced the euro as a national currency as of 2024, Hungarians and Romanians had the most positive impression of the implementation of the euro in the countries where it had already been implemented. A share of over ** percent of Hungarians and Romanians thought that the implementation of the euro had had positive consequences in the countries where it had been introduced. On the other hand, ** percent of the respondents in Poland and ** percent in Bulgaria saw the countries as negatively impacted by using the euro.
