Citation formats

The value of overall card payments in Austria grew by eight billion euros between 2022 and 2023, the largest increase seen since 2000. Before that, the total value of transactions increased steadily with small fluctuation. In 2024, approximately 81 billion euros worth of card payments were carried out in Austria.
