This statistic shows the daily internet usage rate (for personal reasons) of online users in Belgium in 2017, by age group. During the survey period, it was found that roughly 95 percent of Belgian internet users between the ages of 25 and 34 were accessing the internet every day. The survey results show, that the daily internet usage rate is highest among Belgians aged 34 or younger, whereas Belgian individuals aged 55 or older have the lowest daily internet usage. The internet penetration rate in Belgium has been increasing over the past years, up to almost 80 percent in 2015. On a European scale, Belgium is among the top ten countries with the highest share of daily internet users.
