The survey respondents, who were 18 years and older and who shop for groceries and purchase meat, were polled about their attitudes toward the health benefits of red meat, poultry, and pork, organized by age of the respondent. Some ** percent of respondents over the age of ** believed pork to be a healthy part of a balanced diet, while only ** percent of ** to 24-year-olds shared that belief.
