In 2023, Canadian retirees reported carrying out various corrective actions to improve their health. With 68 percent of respondents, challenging oneself mentally was the most practiced strategy. Around 43 percent of respondents who reported challenging themselves mentally thought that it had caused a significant impact on their health. Other common strategies included more physical activity, conscious diet improvement, and conscious stress level reduction.
