In 2024, Nigeria’s instant payment systems – eNaira, NIP, and Nigeria Mobile Money – processed transactions worth more than **** times the country’s gross national income, the highest level among the selected countries. In comparison, Kenya’s Mobile Money and PesaLink systems recorded instant transactions equivalent to *** percent of the country’s GNI.
