The Strait of Hormuz connects the Persian Gulf to the Arabian Sea. In the first half of 2025, an average of 11.4 billion cubic feet of LNG were transported through the strait per day. By comparison, the Strait of Malacca saw 9.2 billion cubic feet pass per day.Â
