In response to the question, "In recent months and weeks, Emmanuel Macron has spoken several times on the theme of the environment and ecology. Personally, would you say that Emmanuel Macron's commitment to the environment is sincere?", a large majority of respondents answered negatively. Only a total of 34 percent of French people believed in June 2022 that the President was at least "somewhat" sincere or even completely sincere regarding his commitment to the environment. One quarter of French people think the President is "not at all" sincere on this issue, and 40 percent do not really believe he is sincere.
