Two reasons stand out clearly, with almost ** percent of the French stating that these are the reasons why they have lost the desire to stay informed. These are both a selection of information that is too anxiety-inducing, as well as the impression of repetition among different sources of information.
It is noted that distrust in journalists is a reason for nearly half of the respondents. One might see as a consequence of this last reason the evolution of media consumption for staying informed, which varies depending on the type of sources used.
