During 2023 and 2024, the vast majority of Spaniards watched television distributed through the DTT system or digital terrestrial television. Meanwhile, Internet protocol television, which includes Movistar TV, Vodafone One, and Orange TV among others, has been gaining ground among the national population. In fact, in 2024, around 20 percent of Spaniards watched television through this system, representing an increase of nearly one point compared to the previous year.
