In 2022, the most-watched television channel in Spain during the midday period was Antena 3, with a market share of approximately 16.2 percent. In the afternoon and prime time, the flagship channel of Atresmedia also managed to outperform the rest of the national television offerings, with a market share that exceeded the channel in second place in that time slot, Telecinco, by more than four points. Meanwhile, the Mediaset channel dominated the morning slot, with a share of 14.1 percent, and also prevailed in programming broadcast between midnight and 2:30 a.m.
