In the case of the main public television channels, La1 of TVE experienced an increase in its audience share of almost one percentage point compared to 2023, while La2 suffered a slight decline. Meanwhile, Telecinco, which for many years had been the most-watched channel nationwide and lost that position in 2022, experienced a further decrease in its share in 2024, this time by almost two points, allowing Antena 3 to maintain the top spot, despite also having a loss of audience share of just over half a point.
