After announcing in April 2024 his signing with La 1 of TVE for two seasons, David Broncano presented La Revuelta for the first time on the public channel in prime time on Monday, September 9. On its first day, approximately million people watched the show, falling about viewers short of El Hormiguero, Pablo Motos' program broadcast on Antena 3 and the undisputed leader of Spanish prime time until that moment. However, the next day, Broncano managed to surpass it by a narrow margin, and on September 11 he reached an average audience of about million compared to nearly million for his opponent. Although the presence of the young Blaugrana star Lamine Yamal in the broadcast on Thursday, September 12, returned dominance to El Hormiguero, this is undoubtedly the beginning of a television battle with much more to come. During the penultimate week of November, it was again demonstrated, due to the controversy surrounding the interview with the current MotoGP world champion, Spanish rider Jorge MartÃn, which the La 1 program could not air due to a prior agreement he had with the Antena 3 show. Interestingly, on that date, El Hormiguero attracted a larger audience than its rival during the four days it was on air, surpassing the million mark on three of those days. However, the Ducati rider interview on El Hormiguero, aired on November 27, was watched by almost fewer people than the one conducted by Broncano just one day later.
