Ahead of the regional elections in November 2021, the change with the greatest acceptance among the Venezuelan population is to have a recall referendum to remove the current president Nicolás Maduro from the presidency of the country. Other proposals with general acceptance among the participants of the survey conducted between June and July 2021 were that Maduro resign or that a new leader take Maduro's place in power.
