Latin America: teachers trained for online education by level in 2020
The percentage of teachers trained to use online education tools during the COVID-19 pandemic in Latin America and the Caribbean varied according to the level of education. According to a survey conducted between May and June 2020 in the region, in three out of four countries analyzed, secondary and upper secondary level teachers were trained to use online platforms, while in the case of preschool teachers, ** percent of the countries had trained teaching staff on the subject.
