One of the most common obstacles to educational digitalization is the lack of student access to the necessary equipment. A study reveals that Latin American students aged 15 generally have broad internet access at home. In Brazil, for example, ** percent of the students analyzed in 2018 had an internet connection at home, although this proportion was ** percent in Peru. Regarding the availability of computer equipment, on average, ** percent of 15-year-old students in Latin America had a computer at home, with Uruguay and Chile being the countries with the highest percentage in this regard, at ** percent.
