With the advancement of information and communication technologies, digitalization has become increasingly present in various areas of the educational system. At the higher education level, hybrid or fully online university programs have begun to be offered. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this trend has accelerated. According to a survey conducted in Colombia, Mexico, and Peru in April and May 2020, although the majority of respondents in the three selected countries were enrolled in face-to-face programs, more than ** percent of those interviewed in Peru and Mexico were studying online. Additionally, ** percent of the Peruvians surveyed were enrolled in hybrid programs. This figure was ** percent and ** percent for Colombia and Mexico, respectively.
