Latin America: online learning platforms by type 2020
According to a survey conducted in May and June 2020, among the distance education measures implemented by the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ** percent of the ** countries studied chose the internet as one of their means of transmitting educational information. Of the countries that used online learning platforms, ** percent used open and/or commercial platforms, while ** percent used non-commercial platforms. Regarding the most commonly used distance teaching methods by teachers, online education was the most common modality.
