The "Learn at Home" project was created by the Mexican government with the goal of delivering distance education to as many students as possible in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project consists of television programs created for each educational level and broadcast throughout the day. It also includes an online platform and radio programs.
The program "Aprende en Casa" was officially launched by the Mexican government at the end of April 2020 as a tool for distance learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project, consisting of television programs and other media, had a total cost of 450 million Mexican pesos for the first semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The cost per student enrolled in a public institution was 15 pesos.
