According to a survey conducted in 2025, Hispanic Americans were most likely to fear that they or someone close to them could be deported, regardless of their legal status, in the United States, at ** percent. Hispanic adults were also more likely to worry about being asked to prove their U.S. citizenship or immigration status during their daily activities compared to other Americans, with an additional ** percent reporting that they began to carry a document proving their legal status.Â
