The source asked respondents how close they would be ready to see people from other ethnic groups. The closest distance meant that respondents would be ready to see them among their family members. The furthest distance was recorded when respondents would not let them into Russia.
The figures represent the average value of the distance. The higher the value is, the further the distance is, thus, the less 'desired' that group is.
Respondents were surveyed in 137 localities in 50 federal subjects of Russia.
