In a 2024 conducted survey among Australian consumers regarding sustainability, around ** percent of respondents said they believe manufacturers hold a major responsibility for creating a sustainable future. Those surveyed also held federal, state, or local governments highly accountable for fostering a sustainable future. Only around two-fifths of respondents said that individual consumers were majorly responsible.Â
