Elden Ring was also popular with 3.2 million MAU, while Dark Souls III, Bloodborne, and Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon had less than one million MAU each. The Kadokawa Corporation is one of Japan's biggest video game, anime, and entertainment companies. Furthermore, Kadokawa entered into a business alliance with the multinational conglomerate Sony in December 2024.Â
