A survey from 2024 found that around 61 percent of women in the United States aged 18 to 34 who were currently pregnant or had been pregnant said they experienced anxiety, depression, or another mental health condition when they were trying to conceive, during their pregnancy, or postpartum. When considering all surveyed women who were currently pregnant or had been pregnant, this share was significantly lower, with 32 percent.
