According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, around **** percent of people reported experiencing severe stress. This was the most commonly reported type of mental health problem that year, followed by days-long depression and physical discomfort of unknown origin or cause. The rate of people reporting drug addiction as well as those reporting no mental health issues were the only ones to experience a decrease compared to the previous year.
