Opinion on the dismissal of Christian Lindner as Finance Minister in Germany 2024
On 6th November 2024, the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, dismissed the FDP party leader Christian Lindner who held the position of the finance minister. This caused the FDP to leave the government coalition, meaning that the government no longer had a majority. Almost 60 percent of people in Germany saw the dismissal of Christian Lindner as good.
