In July 2024, the National Basketball Association (NBA) struck a new broadcast rights deal with Disney, NBC, and Amazon. The deal, set to run between 2025/26 and 2036/37, was valued at ** billion U.S. dollars. This was over times the overall value of the league's media rights deal from between 2016/17 and 2024/25, which was made with Warner Bros. Discovery in 2014.
