For the 2024 season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the salary cap for players with a Supermaximum contract was set at approximately ** U.S. dollars. This contract type is usually only available for veterans who have spent a minimum of five or six years with the same franchise, depending on when they were signed. However, rookies who receive contract extensions are also eligible for earning a salary in the upper-bracket.
