On August 6, Kamala Harris announced Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential election in November. According to a survey taken shortly after the selection, 21 percent of Americans between 18 and 29 years old considered Walz very liberal. However, almost half of those 65 or older considered him very liberal.
