More than half of the French expect real social and political change following the 2022 presidential elections. This is particularly the case among those close to the most right-wing parties of the political spectrum, such as the Rassemblement National or the Debout la France party, but also among the supporters of Jean-Luc Mélenchon's party, ** percent of whom expect such a change. Conversely, the majority of those close to the outgoing president's party expect France to become more peaceful. In addition, some people do not expect anything from this election, and it is among those close to the Parti Communiste that believe this the most.
