In France, the next presidential elections will take place in April 2022. The two main reforms expected by people who have already voted for Emmanuel Macron or for La République en Marche concern the fight against climate change (** percent), and the pension system (** percent).
In general, although they tend to consider that the country is behind regarding this issue, the support of the French for measures to fight against climate change is quite high. Moreover, many of them think that it is the government (in addition to large companies) that should primarily engage in this fight, which is perceived by many as even more important in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
