An online survey was launched in October 2023 and was answered by 1,536 respondents, of which 1,440 were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 96 by BEV drivers in Belgium. The survey closed in November 2023 after being open for one month for non-BEV drivers. As BEV drivers were harder to reach, their survey remained open until February 2024.
Desired range was described as the number of kilometres that can be driven with a full battery without recharging
