The survey consisted mostly of non-BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) drivers. 1927 responses were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 359 by BEV drivers.
Online survey
An online survey was launched in October 2023 and was answered by 2,286 respondents, of which 1,927 were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 359 by BEV drivers in France. The survey closed in November 2023 after being open for one month for non-BEV drivers. As BEV drivers were harder to reach, their survey remained open until February 2024.
Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) is a technology that allows electric vehicles (EVs) to interact with the power grid by using their batteries as temporary storage, supplying energy back to the grid when parked. French battery-electric vehicle (BEV) drivers were surveyed about their awareness of this technology.
