Electromobility in Germany - statistics & facts
The German government sees electromobility as a driving force in what may become an overall energy transition in the country, namely a fossil fuel exit. Considering that the German automotive industry is one of the pillars of the national economy and also a key player on a global level, in an age when industries are expected to find climate- and environmentally friendly solutions for production and use, widespread access to electric vehicles could be both the dawning of a new, greener era and a massive revenue source.
