An online survey was launched in October 2023 and was answered by 2,286 respondents, of which 1,927 were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 359 by BEV drivers in France. The survey closed in November 2023 after being open for one month for non-BEV drivers. As BEV drivers were harder to reach, their survey remained open until February 2024.
Desired range was described as the number of kilometers that can be driven with a full battery without recharging.
