Following the inaugural presidential debate of 2024, voters across the country expressed disappointment with both Biden and Trump, weakening an already disheartened voting populace.

The debate was relatively unproductive, with neither candidate having been forthright in how they answered the questions. The questions ranged from the economy and immigration, to abortion and their physical and mental fitness.

Biden's performance sparked further concern surrounding his age, with many believing the debate validated the already wide-spread fears that the incumbent is no longer fit for office. While there was not as much concern sparked for Trump's physical and mental abilities, the former president's performance was riddled with untrue statements that, while not fact-checked live, were confirmed as false shortly after by a number of sources.

Nevertheless, just over two-thirds of registered voters who tuned into the debate considered Trump to have done the better job between the two.
