Members of Handelsverband.swiss as well as other online retailers were surveyed. In total, data from over 300 companies was used. Revenue of large online retailers who do not publish data was estimated by HANDELSVERBAND.swiss and GfK Switzerland.Â

In Switzerland, non-food items have been consistently more popular than food items when it comes to online shopping. In 2024, around ** percent of items ordered online were non-food items. Only percent were food products.
